Lux Ethica London® sells luxury vegan scented soy candles exclusively within the United Kingdom.
By accessing our website or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.
SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF THE WEBSITE
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on this website.
You agree not to use this website or our products for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable UK law or regulation.
We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend access, or terminate use of the website where these Terms are breached.
SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS
We sell luxury scented soy candles for personal, domestic use only.
All product descriptions, images, and information are provided in good faith. While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, minor variations may occur, including differences in colour due to screen display settings.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any product at any time without notice.
SECTION 3 – VEGAN & ETHICAL CLAIMS
All products sold by Lux Ethica London® are vegan and cruelty-free.
Our candles are made using:
- Plant-derived ingredients, and
- Where required, synthetic ingredients that are not derived from animals and are not tested on animals.
Formulations may change from time to time. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we do not guarantee the absence of trace cross-contamination.
SECTION 4 – PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices are displayed in GBP (£).
We are not currently VAT-registered, and VAT is therefore not charged.
Prices may change at any time, but such changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
SECTION 5 – DELIVERY
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the goods have been delivered to the address provided at checkout.
SECTION 6 – CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Cooling-off period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
Condition of returns
To be eligible for a refund or replacement:
- Items must be unused, unburned, and
- Returned in their original condition and packaging
For hygiene and safety reasons, used or burned candles cannot be returned, except where the item is faulty.
Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.
If your product is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, regardless of whether the product has been used, where required by law.

SECTION 7 – CANDLE SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Candles must be used responsibly.
By purchasing our products, you agree to follow all candle care and safety instructions provided, including but not limited to:
- Never leaving a lit candle unattended
- Keeping candles away from children, pets, flammable materials, and draughts
- Burning candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface
- Discontinuing use if the container becomes damaged
Lux Ethica London® accepts no responsibility for damage, injury, or loss caused by misuse or failure to follow safety instructions.
